Bucknell's Automotive Enthusiasts Unveil a Successful Debut Auto Show

Instructions

A remarkable event took place on April 26 as the Bucknell Automotive Enthusiast Club introduced its first annual Auto Show, celebrating their inaugural year as an official club. Spearheaded by Brady Muller, along with co-founders Alex Dalton and Peter Guzman, this club was born out of a shared passion for automobiles. Muller collaborated closely with Brent Papson to transform his vision into reality, aiming not only to unite like-minded students but also to enhance his leadership capabilities beyond athletics.

The hard work put in by Muller and his team culminated in what they deemed an extraordinary success. Initially conceived as a small gathering exclusively for alumni, the show expanded significantly after forming partnerships with local businesses such as Blaise Alexander Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat Lewisburg. This collaboration allowed them to draw in both community members and over 70 vehicles, attracting approximately 200 attendees throughout the day. The exhibition featured a stunning array of cars spanning nearly a century, from vintage models dating back to 1927 to cutting-edge designs from 2025. Additionally, the event received media attention when iHeart Radio covered it live.

Looking ahead, the club plans to continue fostering connections within the community while expanding outreach efforts among former Bucknell students. They intend to host similar events more frequently—perhaps once per semester—and align future shows with key university dates like Alumni Weekend to boost participation. Awards were presented during the showcase, including honors for standout vehicles like a modified C6 Corvette earning the "Fast and Furious Award," a classic red Willis receiving the "People’s Choice Award," and a high-performance Scat Pack Charger taking home the "Best Mopar" title. While focused primarily on logistics throughout the day, Muller expressed excitement about engaging directly with car enthusiasts and sharing insights into personal modifications he has made to his own vehicle.

Through dedication and strategic planning, the Bucknell Automotive Enthusiast Club demonstrated that combining youthful energy with professional aspirations can yield impressive results. Their commitment to inclusivity ensures that anyone at Bucknell University, regardless of ownership or expertise level, can join and contribute meaningfully to this vibrant community centered around automotive admiration.
